Harry Reid is a genius.........NOT!

Just saw this at the Corner and then saw Hugh comment on it as well. Harry Reid talking about Gorbal Warming...

"The one thing we fail to talk about is those costs that you don't see on the bottom line. That is coal makes us sick, oil makes us sick; it's global warming. It's ruining our country, it’s ruining our world. We’ve got to stop using fossil fuel.”

Wow, this is why they are so dangerous. They're dangerous on national security and economic security. They know that drilling will help us bridge the gap until the alternative fuels that Senator McCain has spoken about come on line.  They don't care, because it panders to a small radical percentage of their party's hard left base.

Fun times folks!

And The Hits Just Keep On Coming

Another one of Obama's surrogates is jumping the McCain prison camp dogpile.  Here's an excerpt...

Gen. Merrill A. McPeak, the most senior retired general advisor the Obama campaign, raised a few eyebrows when he suggested John McCain, the former POW and presumptive nominee, is, shall we say, pleasantly plump.

"He was fresh out of jail, you know," Gen. McPeak told the Washington Times. Both he and Mr. McCain sat in the same National War College class in 1973-74.

"Skinny kid. All beat up of course, physically. But quite thin. They weren't feeding him very well in Hanoi. He's done very well at the dinner table in Washington," the general added.

Prayers are in order.

When you listen to a radio program long enough, you begin to feel as though you know the host on a personal level.  This was no different when listening to Mike Gallagher, especially over the past year.  As many people already know, his wife Denise lost her battle with cancer this weekend.  When you listen to someone speak about his wife's struggle as well their entire families struggle as often as Mike did, you really start to root for them on a personal level.  With that being said, I want to extend my sympathies as well as thoughts and prayers for Mike and his entire family as they try to cope with this great loss in their family.

Stay strong Mike and take good care of Rory and Buster for Denise.

I'm not the only one that spotted it.

I see that Carol Platt Liebau caught the little comments by Gen. Clark as well. She has a much better take on it than I do.

Just wanted to give props to Carol. I love her stuff.

McCain at League of Latino Voters

So when Johnny Mac says things like this, it makes me wonder...

“We have to secure our borders—that’s the message,” McCain said. “But we also must proceed with a temporary worker program that is verifiable and truly temporary.”

Sounds familiar.  Does he want to go back to the original plan of last summer? That one was shot down and even McCain seemed to get it when he said "message recieved" a while back.

I need help people, I like everything about the Sr. Senator, asside from his little imigration issue last summer. Sometimes he seems a little too bi-partisan, but hey at least he has a bi-partisan record, unlike some other presidential candidates

Happy Sunday!

I thought I'd have a little fun and not be too serious on a Sunday.  In the spirit of Sunday being football day, here's a fun little article about the best mustaches in NFL history.

Who doesn't love Broadway Joe?

Stay Classy Wesley Clark.

They don't really have anything of substance to say about John McCain so they'll just smear his military record instead.  I'm still trying to figure out which is worse, Obama saying it or Obama using a surrogate to say it. Not just any surrogate mind you, but Wesley Clark, a known weasel and pawn for the Democratic Party.

Fun Sunday Morning...

This video is a little out there. You have to get past the use of his full name. Once you do though, you'll see some very interesting stuff including actual video of the now famous photo of Obama not respecting the national anthem, a photo of course the campaigns official site says is untrue and a smear.

I will also put the disclaimer out there and say that I don't agree with everything this guy implies about the Jr. Senator.  I'll let you decide.  But this will make me appreciate the church I go to even more when I hear the love and truth that my pastor speaks this morning, and not the hate and bigotry Obama heard for 20 years.

Have Fun!

If CNN Is Starting To Notice...

If CNN is starting to notice the subtleties of the Obama tax plan then maybe there's hope after all. Here's another one outlining the difference between the two candidates. The way I see it the biggest impact will be on the middle class, which is of course if you believe the middle class ranges from $75K to $230K per year. That's my combined household income! I am so not excited about this!

Obama's Trying To Man Up?

This guy really thinks we're dumb enough to believe that Obama is shifting rightward and becoming "more manly like the Republican Party"? Funny thing about this article is, it points to one of Obamas fatal flaws. Flip Flopping! Not very "manly".

Welcome to the first post of my new blog.  It will probably be a little thin on content the first few days so bear with me.
