I'm an American. Not a citizen of the world. I know this is a little late but hey, I've been out of the loop for a few days. The other comments critcizing America also made me sick to my stomach.

She should be charged as criminally neglegent. If Nancy Pelosi realy feels that abstinance is not a solution to unwanted pregnancies and std's then she realy is complicit in the ideas and actions of the nutroots moonbats that put minors in physical danger.

I've been out the loop most of the week and will be until Monday. Having said that, I'd like to put one last post up. Let Freedom Ring has put out a new add that's going on MTV of all networks. I know Matt Lewis already posted on this but I thought it would be good to actually embed it. You can never see it enough.

The Media Isn't Biased

Seriously? I'm taking my morning swim through Real Clear Politics and I found this gem of a piece by Clarence Page of the, you guessed it, Chicago Tribune. His message to you and me is to forget what we've all known to be true all along.  The media isn't partisan about politics, their partisan for the big story. This line says it all... 
"Sure, the coverage helps Obama, but it also confirms the biggest bias in the media, our hunger for a big story -- and the big audience that comes with it."
So the "big story" is their motivation because it brings readers, and readers brings money. Is it me or does it sound like they want to make money and continue being the big evil corporations that they so loathe. Oh wait, they can't be evil if they're helping usher the era of the Obamasiah.
 
My favorite part of that line is the fact that they admit the bias but that they just don't seem to care.

I meant to post this yesterday but i was busy having fun with my kids at the zoo. So, here's a little zoo for you. 
 
The McCain camp has put out a great video outlining a glaring example of how bad the Obama flip flops really are.
  
 
They need to make this one shorter and possibly turn it into a series of adds.  Then run them day and night in all the battle ground states.  This on top of the drilling issue is a winner for the McCain campaign.

Dianne Feinstein Not Buying Obama's Hype?

OK, so she didn't exactly say that but, if you read this article she wrote about offshore drilling, you'd think so. I was reading her mindless, no growth, stick it to the Americans wallet because of a small group of lobbyists article, which by the way, is extremely dull and very poorly written, and I found this...

"We cannot drill our way out of the energy problem. Our nation doesn't need smooth talk and rosy scenarios. We need a clear-eyed view of our energy situation."

Either she's too dense to realize she just described the hype surrounding Obama and the calm thought out real solutions that Mac is proposing or she's well...she's just dense. These people just don't get it. The prise of oil works on speculation. President Bush lifts all the restrictions he can and the only ones left are from Congress. This alone drops oil $15 a barrel in speculation alone. Just think what congress could do.

You can argue with other politicians over the success in Iraq, but you can't argue with the people that have been there.
 

 
The only people that are criticizing Vets For Freedom over these ads are the left wing nut-roots. Keep running these ads Pete. The politicians that don't get it can't say anything about it.

Willful Suspension Of Telling The Truth

Barry Obama is employing the willing suspension of telling the truth in his NYT oped published yesterday. The funny thing is, he contradicts himself in the same article by on one hand saying of course the surge worked, I always thought it would, then saying he always opposed the surge and that he didn't think the results wouldn't be significant.
 
Which one is it Barry? This one's not a flip flop, it's a look at how ignorant someone can be, even with an Ivy League education.

When Comparing Obama To Kennedy Doesn't Work...

They're trying to compare him to Reagan now. It was already a stretch to try and compare him to Kennedy, who's actually closer to Reagan than Obama eve will be. But to actually compare Obama to the Greatest of all the 20th Century Presidents is not just a stretch but an insult to the Gippers memory.
 
This article in The New Republic, surprise surprise, is gratuitously tasteless and is actually making feel ill. I need to go throw......

The Audacity Of Being In The Right Place At The Right Time

The Republican brand is down this year and doesn't look to be improving any time soon. Even though the majority of Americans don't want to shift to a European brand of Socialism, they may get it any way. As Star Parker Points out...
 
What also is happening is we are witnessing a phenomenon that, at least for the time being, is personal -- not ideological.

Obama is succeeding in tapping into the public's general disgust with everything and using his considerable charm and calm and reassuring persona to exploit it.

It's why he may succeed in flip-flopping all over the place and taking liberties with the details of stands he takes over time. Much of the enthusiasm he is generating is not being generated by those details. It is being generating by him.


Basically his empty rhetoric is paying off. People don't want to hear what's good for them this year, they want to hear happy thoughts. Guess what people, those happy thoughts will turn to misery as we slip further into socialism and an oppression through equality.
 
I already have the "Don't Blame Me I Voted For Obama" bumper sticker ready.

I know this is also a little stale but, in light of his countless flip flops over the past few weeks, I thought this is relevant to now and the growing tone of his campaign.
 
 
Fun Times People. Not only did the bus roll over Wright, the Obama Flip Flopped over him as well. It may be a stretch to call it that because the term usually applies to political positions, but I think it has to called to attention since it shows his lack of integrity in and out of politics.

If he couldn't take care of his own small little district on the South Side of Chicago when he was a State Senator, how can he be trusted to run the largest economy and military on the planet? This is disturbing.

Update - Where's the mainstream media? These are things that should be known to the entire country.  It is negligence on their part.  If any of you can get these videos out there to the general public, DO IT!
