If drilling's not the answer, what is? Releasing the strategic reserve? Here's what
Obama says, just another Partisan talking point...
from the NYT...
“We should sell 70 million barrels of oil from our Strategic Petroleum Reserve for less expensive crude, which in the past has lowered gas prices within two weeks,” Mr. Obama said. “Over the next five years, we should also lease more of the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska for oil and gas production, and we should also tap more of our substantial natural gas reserves and work with the Canadian government to finally build the Alaska natural gas pipeline, delivering clean natural gas.”
Didn't Nancy
Pelosi call for that a few weeks ago?
from CNN on July 9, 2008, not even a month ago she said we should release the oil...
"to help reduce record prices that are helping push the economy toward recession."
"Releasing oil from the Reserve is a tool to manage our national and economic security, and when judiciously used will in no way jeopardize national security,"
For people that think supply side solutions aren't the answer, they sure do sound like they want a supply side solution.
This is actually getting kind of fun to watch. The Dems are starting to see their Demagoguery back-fire on them.
